Yvonne Landry, Improvisation

With a background in professional dance, stunt work, and improvisation, Yvonne Landry is a key foundation to the Super Hero program.

Yvonne received her degree in dance and musical theater from Columbia College in Chicago. In 1992, while pursuing her degree, she began studying improvisational theater. She trained in the iO Conservatory, the Second City Theater, and the Annoyance Theater in Chicago. Yvonne performed on multiple teams at all three theaters for roughly 8 years.Yvonne has trained with every major improv guru in the United States including Del Close, Susan Messing, and Mick Napier.


Andrea Frankle: On Camera and Shakespeare

Andrea Frankle has been teaching acting for 20 years. She graduated with her B.A. from The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and her MFA in acting from Louisiana State University (LSU) and has worked steadily in the business of acting ever since. 

Through years of on-camera work and experience, along with help from some of her favorite acting texts, which she’ll happily recommend, Andrea has developed an accessible vocabulary and technique to help each individual actor. Utilizing script analysis and specific on-camera blocking, Andrea will help you create solid and truthful performances and strong self-tape auditions.

Andrea Frankle is best known for Underground, The Purge, and True Detective, Season 1.

Matt Clanton: Tactical Movement and Krav Maga

Matt Clanton is a former police officer, and Black Belt/Certified Instructor in Israeli Krav Maga. His police training and experience include Uniform Patrol, Shift Level Crime Scene Technician, High Risk Warrant Service, Officer Survival, Police Management/Supervision, and more.

In addition to Krav Maga, his martial arts training includes Stage/Film Combat, Israeli Tactical Knife Fighting, Filipino Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Boxing. He has worked in the film industry since early 2011 and began in early 2013 working as a police/criminal technical advisor, Krav Maga technical advisor, fight designer, weapons prop creator, and instructor. 

Matt is best known for his tactical training for actors and his roles in The Following and Resurrection. 

Cara Reid: Voice and Dialect Coach

Cara Reid is an accomplished voice, speech, and dialect coach, most recently coming off the set of The Outsider on HBO. Cara has numerous coaching credits for television including OzarkThe ResidentStar, The Untitled Vigilante Project and Watchmen. Film coaching credits include Oscar-winning Director Ed Zwick’s newest feature film Trial by FireCharming the Hearts of Men starring Anna Friel and tv movie Behind the Movement. Selected theatre credits include: Alliance Theatre, Theatrical Outfit, Horizon Theatre, and City Springs Theatre Company.  She is also a professional working actress, recently on HomelandThe OutsiderRuthlessCobra KaiValor, and with a meaty, supporting role opposite Emmy-winning actress Laura Dern in a feature film. After years of coaching and performing in New York and Texas, Cara obtained her M.F.A. at Louisiana State University and further solidified herself as a strong teacher and talent in the booming southeast market. Cara is represented by Atlanta Models and Talent and Big Timber Management. 

Jason Kirkpatrick

Jason Kirkpatrick, Acting Technique

Jason Kirkpatrick was born in Oklahoma and started his acting career at The Oklahoma Shakespeare Festival in 1995. Graduated with a BA in Film TV and Theatre Arts from The University of New Orleans.
Jason was a Drama teacher in Louisiana before he left teaching to pursue working as an artist full time in 2016. In 2017 he moved to Chicago to train at The Second City training center then to Move on to Vietnam to work with helping teachers teach Artistic Expression in english speaking schools. Jason now lives in Atlanta GA.

A.J. Gagliardi is an actor and stunt performer on both stage and film. He has received degrees in arts from Johnson State College for Theatre & Drama, Musical Theatre, and Technical Theatre. Specializing in European sword work and ground fall stunts, he has been studying and working as a live action fight performer for 12 years and film stunts for 5 years.
